TryCoax
Terms of Service
The short version
TryCoax is a focus, routines and habits app, built to work for ADHD brains too. You can use the core features free forever, or subscribe to Plus for more. We do not give medical advice. Your data is yours.
Who can use TryCoax
- You must be 13 or older. TryCoax asks your birth month and year at setup and stops for anyone under 13.
- If you are 13–17, use TryCoax with a parent's or guardian's knowledge. Some features start off for teens, such as AI breakdown, and the app asks whether a parent has said yes before turning them on.
- A teen can choose to link with one parent (see the Privacy Policy). The teen decides what is shared and can stop sharing at any time.
Using TryCoax
- TryCoax is a general wellness product. It does not diagnose, treat, mitigate or manage ADHD or any other condition.
- Medication tracking is logging only. TryCoax never suggests a dose, a timing change, a taper or a different medication. If insights mention medication, they come with a note to talk to your prescriber.
- You are responsible for your own health decisions. TryCoax gives you patterns and tools, not clinical guidance. Discuss any changes with your prescriber.
- TryCoax is not a crisis service. If you are in danger or thinking about hurting yourself, call your local emergency number.
Accounts and data
- There is no account with a name or email. Your data stays on your phone.
- Online features (focus rooms, paired sessions, AI breakdown, the parent link) use an anonymous id. Delete all data in Settings removes everything on your phone and ends any parent link.

Subscriptions
- Free trial: 14 days of full access, no payment details required.
- Plus: monthly or yearly. Family: yearly; includes Plus for the parent and the parent view. Prices are shown in the app and in the App Store or Google Play before you buy, and may vary by region.
- Billing: Subscriptions are billed through Apple or Google and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Refunds: Handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies.
- Hardship: If you cannot afford Plus, email villetorio@gmail.com. We offer discounts and free access, no documentation required.
Acceptable use
Do not use TryCoax to:
- Harass, abuse or harm other users (in focus rooms or paired sessions)
- Link with a teen who is not your child or in your care
- Distribute illegal content
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the app or its servers
Intellectual property
TryCoax, including the ferret companion artwork, UI design and code, is our intellectual property. Your data is yours.
Limitation of liability
TryCoax is provided as is. We are not liable for any decisions you make based on the app's insights, patterns or tools. This applies especially to medication-related information: always consult your prescriber.
Changes
We will tell you in the app before material changes. Continuing to use TryCoax after that means you accept the new terms.
